This winter we completed a workshop in two different schools in the Peel region as part of the Art Gallery of Mississauga’s Roots and Branches Program. Working with grade 7s and 8s, we began the workshop with an introduction of art interventions from around the world. We then worked with the kids to help them create, develop and make sign interventions for their school.

We kicked off the weekend by installing 5 works for Art of the Danforth. We’re both really excited to be a part of the festival; there are tons of great works to be experienced and I highly recommend you check it out. The festival runs from May 20 to June 10, 2012.
Apart from AOD, we also transformed a telephone booth this weekend for Tel-Talk, an art intervention project involving telephone booths. The piece is interactive, so if you’re in and around the UofT area, swing by the North-East side of Spadina Crescent and check it out!
